At Varner there are many different job opportunities! You can work in one of our many stores or at our service offices. All the positions are important for creating good shopping-experiences for our customers and increasing turnover.

  • Sales Assistant

    You love fashion and people, always put the customer in focus, and enjoy sales. You see the importance of everything that gives the customer a positive shopping-experience; from good advice and service, to keeping the changing-rooms tidy, and showing our products in the best possible way.

    If you are enthusiastic, willing to learn, and see solutions and possibilities then working in one of our stores as a sales assistant can be the start of an exciting career with us.

  • Store Manager

    As one of our store managers you are both a seller and a leader. You love to reach targets and you can inspire to employees to come to work. You are enthusiastic and understand the value of team-work. At the same time you can make tough decisions, are flexible and can work effectively.

    Your responsibility is to maximise profitability in your store – increased turnover and profit is your goal. We prefer to recruit store managers from among our best sales assistants.

  • Visual Merchandiser

    You love fashion, are creative and hard-working. As Visual merchandiser you are responsible for making sure products are in the right place at the right time, and that the total impression in the store matches the season’s trends.

    It is important that you have a commercial perspective and at the same time know what inspires customers. First impressions and total experience are crucial for determining whether customers purchase or not. This is your task and your most important goal.


 At our Service Office at Slependen, there is always lively activity. Here, people in various departments such as Design, Buying & Production, Supply Chain, Tech, Marketing, Digital Retail and Finance work to give our customers the best shopping experience in retail.

  • Designer

    Your most important task is to understand our customers. You are always updated regarding the latest trends. You constantly work with product development and design of new products.

    You will also be following the sales results for your collections and use the information to create new sales possibilities. You work closely with buyers and it is important to be able to combine creativity with commercial understanding. The right product at the right time is an important criteria for success.

  • Fashion Buyer

    Your focus is always the customers and you understand what works out in the stores. You are good at being able to maximise sales and profits.

    You work closely with our designers. You think it is fun to analyse sales-figures and are able to see potential improvements, both short and long term. You are good at planning and budgeting and have good commercial instincts. During negotiations you are good at finding solutions and creating positive cooperation.

  • Other Positions

    We need a lot of support to run 1.200 stores in 5 countries. We support our stores with their day-to-day needs, including logistics, marketing, building new and maintenance of existing stores, salaries, accounting, IT and HR.
